[well, this is all terrible! nie huaisang is reluctantly settling in, considering he seems to have no choice... the room situation is still less than ideal, though. he thinks that maybe he should check in on jin ling, so here he is out in the hall, checking the names on each room-- evidently this is the first time he's bothered to find one besides his own.

and when he finds someone outside the room labeled with their local unruly junior cultivator's name, he pauses, head cocked slightly.]

Oh! Pardon me, but have you seen a young cultivator named Jin Ling? Roughly my height, probably looked annoyed...?

[jan if this works for you... considering nobody can apparently SLEEP, nie huaisang has given up and left his room late at night. he's settled in somewhere with a beige fan and a little paint set, though not working on what they discussed; it looks more like he's using this as a test of the various colors.]

Mm, these will need multiple layers, I think... I hope they're pigmented enough.

[don't mind him he's just talking to himself at like, midnight, and we're all fine. there's no particular emotion from him at the moment.]

nie huaisang is in the kitchen, looking at the cupboards to try to decide what kind of tea is good for when everything is fucking awful. if their bond's still active, it's going to be clear pretty fast that he is Stressed--

and when he realizes he's not alone, there's a fast shift to fear as he turns around, but it largely fades as he catches sight of babo kim and exhales.]

[haha, well! he's not doing great. he's in his room, in a blanket and pillow nest on the floor, trying to deal with all of these terrible feelings that aren't entirely his own.

[when nhs enters the drawing room, he looks a little surprised to see agni there-- but it doesn't keep him from entering, pausing near the couch he's flopped on and peering down at him in concern. he's holding his fan with his sleeve covering his hand, and he looks pretty tired, still.]

I'm glad to see you made it out, but- are you all right...?

[i honestly do not know if a single person will look at agni's injuries on the mingle, so who knows, really

i would say he knocks but it sounds more like something slaps a little wetly against the door, which is really unfortunate.]

[nie huaisang will give him some time, after... wow, All Of That, before coming to find agni in the garden. he assumes others will have words for him, after all, and he probably just spends some time with beau before setting out.]

[do any of us really care about locations, any more. nie huaisang finds agni SOMEWHERE, and we can assume that on sunday he insisted on looking at his wounds and at least changing the bandages. he's very good at stitching, if any was necessary.]

Busy making preparations, yet? It seems we don't have much time.
